Background: what you do/how you got involved with sustainability?
I am a dairy farmer and got involved with sustainability through my experiences as a farmer and with the Sheboygan River Progressive Farmers watershed group.
What farmer-led group are you involved in, and what do you enjoy about the group?
I am involved in the Sheboygan River Progressive Farmers (SRPF) watershed group, and I enjoy sharing information and the learning opportunities I get from being involved with this group.
Why did you want to join FSF and serve on the board?
I was asked if I would serve as a board member. I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to serve a worthy cause and continue to learn about the ever-evolving sustainability journey.
Why should others join FSF?
As farmers, we have strength when we collaborate and build strong teams to take on the challenges that modern agriculture faces. By joining FSF, farms can learn and be part of solving the problems that we face together.
